Design of a local strategy for strengthening food sovereignty: the case of the el Pedregal municipal property of Villagarzón Putumayo.

Introduction: The article discusses the evolution of global food systems, highlighting how advances in science, technology, and international markets have led to an automated food model. This model has increased food production to combat food insecurity, but has also generated significant negative impacts on the environment, communities, and human health. The persistence of food insecurity, the deterioration of arable land and the intensive use of agrochemicals are central issues. In Colombia, and specifically in Putumayo, agriculture is crucial to the economy, but faces challenges due to globalization and dependence on agrochemicals.
Methods: The study focused on the department of Putumayo, Colombia, specifically in the municipality of Villagarzón and the El Pedregal farm. Adopting a social critical approach, a non-experimental and descriptive design with a cross-sectional scope was employed, using interviews to collect qualitative data. The selection of key informants was based on criteria related to economic dependence on agriculture and recognition of agroecology as an alternative method.
Results: The interviews revealed a perception of food sovereignty as an expression of independence in agricultural and livestock production. Challenges identified include the need for investment and incentives, overcoming cultural barriers and the importance of effective technical advice. Technology transfer, focusing on integrated pest management and the use of on-farm inputs, was highlighted as crucial for the transition to agroecological practices. Challenges include overcoming cultural and economic constraints and the need for committed, quality advice.
Conclusions: Strengthening food sovereignty in Villagarzón, Putumayo, requires a local strategy that promotes producer independence, encourages internal production, and ensures the commitment and active participation of both producers and technicians. Complementarity, understood as collective work to obtain and govern resources and capacities, emerges as a key to the sustainable development of the agricultural community. The importance of quality technical assistance and a focus on agroecology is emphasized.

The situation about the attention people receive in the police stations of our country is poor, many users go to these waiting to be attended by police officers after some event or other need, but what they receive is an unfair and degrading treatment, which is why the research seeks to determine the relationship between the quality of service and the user satisfaction of a police station in a district of Lima Norte, 2023. The type of the research is basic, correlative research, cross-sectional, which is applied to a sample of 81 users who are studied through a survey, having as results that talking about quality of service a 43.2% of the respondents said it was low, a 39.5% considered it medium and only a 17.3% considered it high, while regarding user satisfaction, the 53.1% of the respondents considered it low, a 30.9% considered it medium and only 16% considered it high, then the Rho Spearman coefficient is applied to establish the correlation, having as result a degree of significance of 0.001, so the existence of a relationship between quality service and user satisfacción is corroborated, also a coefficient of 0.814 is obtained, which indicates a direct and high correlation between the variables, this is because if users receive a bad attention by the police in the police station, the user satisfaction about the service will be equally bad.

Analysis of farmers' imaginary around the transition and adoption of the new livestock reconversion model in the municipality of Cartagena del Chairá.

Traditional livestock systems have generated unfavorable changes in the ecosystem and, in turn, its management does not present sustainability in the property that runs it as the main economic activity. Therefore, the imaginary of the producer regarding the approach of livestock reconversion from traditional livestock systems to sustainable systems is unknown. The work was carried out on the Los Laureles farm, belonging to the municipality of Cartagena del Chairá, which presented extensive livestock farming as the only activity that generates economic resources. Data collection was carried out through an interview. In results and discussion, three perceptions focused on technical-productive, socio-humanistic and economic areas were obtained. The perception of the producer was positive, although the implementation of the reconversion presents external factors that directly influence the economy and availability of time of the farmer.
